This movie was the best I’ve seen all year. The twists and turns are a thrill. Read more

Completely agree. I guess I am biased because I thought the movie was a ton of fun, but Delphine’s death was no more necessary or unnecessary than a whole host of violent encounters in the movie. Her gayness (which, to me, was unclear in its sincerity...maybe i was missing something, but I didn’t get the feeling Read more

Cosign. The soundtrack was pretty much the four songs you immediately think of when someone says “80s” and by the end I had no idea what was going on, and nothing in the movie was exhilarating enough to make me care, no matter how self-satisfied the movie was about its twists and “style.” Read more

I agree with everything in this review. Delphine was and underdeveloped character that existed just to be fridged towards the end of the film, and the sad part is that it wasn’t necessary for Lorraine to have the extra motivation because her lover was already murdered in the opening scene of the film. Of this, it would be nice to see a guide to what foreign-language things on Netflix are worth watching, as it has a deep pool of Indian, Latin-American, Israeli, and Korean media that I don’t know the reputation of. I can’t use my star algorithm, as Netflix had more childhood favorites than prestige classics that I’d Read more
