Donald Trump will nominate Mark Esper, the current acting Secretary of Defense, to be the not-acting Secretary of Defense, administration officials said on Friday. Esper will be Trump’s third SecDef (or acting SecDef), coming in while the country is poised on the brink of an incredibly stupid war with Iran.
