Here's Trump Urging His Audience to Reject Objective Reality

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump—who once bragged that having sex but avoiding STIs was his own personal Vietnam—addressed this year’s annual Veterans of Foreign Wars conference in Kansas City.

While most of the speech was a rather middling collection of Trump’s typical nonsense, the president did manage to slip in the following doozy during the obligatory “fake news” portion of his remarks.

While the gist of the line is nothing new in Trump-world, rarely—if ever—has he so transparently urged his followers to reject, y’know, objective reality (“Just like 1984!!!!” pretty much everyone on Twitter rushed to point out. Good work folks).
