Jeff Sessions Loved Hearing a Crowd of Conservative Kids Chanting 'Lock Her Up'

Attorney General Jeff Sessions loves to laugh—specifically at chants about throwing Hillary Clinton in prison.

On Tuesday, Sessions was speaking to a crowd of high schoolers at a “leadership summit” being held by pathetic conservative group Turning Point USA when a “lock her up” chant broke out—a relic of when every Donald Trump rally featured a crowd demanding to jail Clinton.

Sessions chuckled and repeated the phrase. “I heard that a long time over the last campaign,” he added.

At the summit, Sessions gave a speech with the usual predictable stuff about safe spaces that conservatives like to go on about.

“Through things like trigger warnings about micro-aggressions, they have cry closets, safe spaces, optional exams, therapy goats, and grade inflation, too many schools are coddling young people and actively preventing them from scrutinizing the validity of their beliefs and the issues of the day,” he said.

Sessions also mocked Cornell for having a “cry-in” session after the 2016 election and Tufts for encouraging students to “draw about their feelings.” (What a great thing to imply to high school kids—don’t talk about your feelings and don’t cry. I’m sure this will leave these children very well-adjusted.)

“Rather than molding a generation of mature and well-informed adults, some schools are doing everything they can to create a generation of sanctimonious, sensitive, supercilious snowflakes,” Sessions said to a cheering crowd. “We’re not going to have it!”
