That’s President Donald Trump at a cabinet meeting today. Hang on, what’s that on the table in front of him?
Oh hell yeah, baby. It’s the poster. Incredible. You may remember this poster from this tweet:
Why did Donald Trump bring the poster to a cabinet meeting? I don’t know, honestly. The original poster was in reference to a series of sanctions on Iran that were lifted as part of Barack Obama’s nuclear deal in 2015. Trump promised to reinstate the sanctions.
Maybe it was to provide a little sideshow for the terrible things Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said about “border security.”
Here’s Nielsen being full of shit.
That was followed up by Trump lying that there are 30-35 million undocumented people living in the U.S. The DHS’s most recent estimate, in 2014, said there were about 12.1 million. It seems quite unlikely that number has doubled, and the president didn’t bother to cite any new research.
Sick poster though!
