White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was forced to host a Cinco De Mayo celebration at the White House on Friday. Her boss, sadly, could not make it, because he was too busy giving a speech to gun nuts.
We don’t know much more than that, because the press was not allowed inside the event held in the Indian Treaty Room. We just know...something happened.
Tweets from some of the very lucky Latinx conservatives at the Cinco de Mayo event show Sanders hosted a “mini-presser” and answered questions from attendees.
Guests enjoyed some traditional Mexican cuisine, such as POTUS-themed cupcakes.
Guests included Secretary of Labor Alex Acosta and the Mexican ambassador to the U.S.
According to pictures shared by the ambassador, the room was pretty empty. Wonder why that could be??
