The Daily Caller Went to an Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Rally and Found Unimaginable Horrors

Conservative website The Daily Caller, best known for its nauseating hot woman slideshows and posts like “Rate Which Of Hillary Clinton’s Outfits Was The Most Heinous,” sent an editor to a rally in St. Louis over the weekend where Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was speaking in support of Democratic congressional candidate Cori Bush. What the writer found there were horrors almost unimaginable to red-blooded patriotic Americans like you and I.

In her account of the event, Virginia Kruta writes:

But then Ocasio-Cortez spoke, followed by Bush, and I saw something truly terrifying. I saw just how easy it would be, were I less involved and less certain of our nation’s founding and its history, to fall for the populist lines they were shouting from that stage.

I saw how easy it would be, as a parent, to accept the idea that my children deserve healthcare and education.

I saw how easy it would be, as someone who has struggled to make ends meet, to accept the idea that a “living wage” was a human right.

Above all, I saw how easy it would be to accept the notion that it was the government’s job to make sure that those things were provided.

THE HORROR!!!! Can you even begin to imagine how sick in the head you’d have to be to believe your fellow human beings—or, god forbid, your own children—deserve a living wage, healthcare, and education in a country as prosperous as the United States?

Lucky for us, Kruta double-dipped to capitalize on the traumatic experience with an appearance on Fox News on Tuesday morning, where she characterized her time at the rally as “mostly uncomfortable.”

“They talk about things things that everybody wants,” she said on the network. “And, if you’re not really paying attention to how they’re gonna to pay for it, it’s easy to fall into that trap and say, ‘My kids deserve this’ and ‘Well maybe the government should be responsible for helping with that.’”

Yes, it is simply a huge mystery where on earth we could get money to pay for these government programs from. Truly unconceivable.
