U.S. soccer player shows up to Mexican press conference dressed as Darth Vader

U.S. national team starter and former L.A. Galaxy player Omar Gonzalez has switched to the dark side.

Gonzalez, who was recently recruited by Mexican soccer team Pachuca, showed up to his first Mexican press conference dressed as Darth Vader, flanked by a Jedi, a stormtrooper, and Chewbacca.

The Mexican American footballer, who knows the heated U.S.-Mexico rivalry inside out, will now be playing next season in a galaxy far far away.
